This is wonderful Charlie - such a delightful picturesque vinette of snow falling on a winter night as seen in the light of a lamppost from a window! I love the contrast of images - snow and warmth, light and darkness, emptiness and abundance, witness and participant. You have put me into a scenario that I love! Blessings for your new year. Best of wishes for the contest my friend. Hugs!

AH, peeking out of the window late at night-as a child praying for snow. I delightfully remember those times so long ago. Your poem a gem my friend. I could again see that and feel that innocent hopeful expectation.. A fav.. God bless..

Hello Charles ... the picture of Christmas. Way down south here it's warming up and hopefully Christmas Day will not be over one hundred degrees - thanks Charles - Lindsay

Hello Charles Messina, yes when it snows the footprints fades. Just like when it rains all the snow disappears. Shoeing how green the grass is. Enjoy your day my friend.
