Fables

Meet the heroine,
talk to my evil villain.
The main characters
are companions intertwined,
every move choreographed.

Fall for the castle,
ride a white horse with the knight.
There’s always that twist.
The dragon who saves your life,
an ageless lesson to learn.

Come gather around,
can I tell you a story?
You may want to stay,
share the moral someday.
Remember fables breathe fire.
