Eyes Wide Shut

When the night dies
The day arise
My heart cries
For it is bound to die
I wish upon a star
The star I wish upon is a shooting star
Bound to burn out
As you come along
Never take it lightly
Take it for you to rise

You dream of love
You dream of hope
I envy your hope of sorrow
Shake my tears
And my laughter
Cause in your heart
My love don't matter
I cry a thousand tears
I cry each night
Why don't you see
Your blindness deafens my heart
Still you don't shed a tear

Stay a while
And look at me
If you just see
I'm not dying
I'm not missing
I'm not here
I'm already gone
Numb
I am dead
I am dead

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
