Eyes of Stone

Love crawls on all fours
To or away
Who's to say the difference
Day after day after day

Dreams' reigns
Clutched by vice, suffice

While love crawls on all fours
To or away
Soft and limp and dying
Day after day after day

Give up and escape
The vicious tide
Turn from the terror
Let the dark ride

Clutch a moment
Squeeze shut your eyes
The eyes of stone are not upon you
They look out gravely, from inside
Wondering why
Day after day after day
Love crawls
And darkness rides
