Eyes of May
These eyes of May
See all everywhere,
Everyday,
Vomiting tears of vengeance.
Death, destruction, and damnation...
Make them sick
They glance for hope
Only to blink in dismay
This world of corruption
Cannot stand on the rotting morals
Drunk on ignorance
It will crumble as their faith did
Perhaps you are blind
By decision or denial
Inaction the reaction
Darkness is all that awaits
These eyes of May...
Just like them
Blue faded
Lighter shades of grey
None are free of judgement
Not you, Not I,
Not even God...
Set it all ablaze
Ash fallen into circles of grey
Just like these eyes of May.
