Eyes of Infinity


With eyes of infinity come the robes of divinity
…and with gentle hands, he comforts our shambolic soul
With a heart of the Trinity comes sanguinity
…and softly speaks as he takes us on a soothing stroll

The beasts of burden kneel as he halts to calmly heal
…for his words bring truth thru the light
You attend the last meal with his love to you to reveal
…for he is our beacon within the night

The angels come to flock for he is the pillar and our rock
…the lord of peace the beginning and the end
The heavens prepare to unlock for all eyes are on the clock
…for He shall return again my faithful friend.

How beautiful! Having just read one of Arturo's poems, I must agree that his spirituality is reflected in his words. A very uplifting poem and I admire the use of rhymes within lines. Sometimes we write our best when it is "not for any contest." Hugs, Carolyn

This is so beautiful! More important than believing or not believing, is living by example, those who preach often are the ones that need to revisit their own teachings! We need to hug the sons of mankind, not disown them!
