Eyes Closed

Hazed dazed eyes blurred by tears
I walked through a foggy morning wood

God led the way with his words silent
To deaf ears but endeared by my heart

I heard nothing but his healing promise
Guidance strength unfaltering powerful

At moments I did not know where I was
Lapse of time was gone minutes hours

Hold on my child I am with you I will
Carry you when you are weak I am here

My hair grew long my clothes tattered
Years passed by the clearing opened

My tears dried and salvation was mine
God was still with me redemption was over
