Eyes Behind Mask

In a silent room, laying on my side watching time go by. I go to think about my full life.
How can you see me as ruthless? I have been nothing but framed of my dignity. I put others before myself. I’m not even beautiful.
Eyes see. No pun intended. Eyes observe.

Can I be free? Do I have a happy ending? Subconscious feels it all.. it hurts so bad. Never took a chance to consider, I am human. Mask is a sheath to protect my weakness.

One wrong move. One slip up. This will be my gunpoint. Do not cry, everything will be fine. As the day ends, my eyes see it all behind this smile of despair. You don’t care. This is just another “poem”.
