Eyes A-Droop

Eyes a-droop
      neck feels weak
    Perhaps it’s time
      to go to sleep

    Why fight
      Nature’s charms
    ‘Taps’ is not
      a Call to Arms

Just keep those eyes open now, Caren. Hint: I use clothespins myself (now that I have a dryer). :)

Not until I safely pull into the driveway, please! Happens often by midday lately.

Hey, me too. Tiredness just overcomes me most days. Must be a message there, eh?! :) gw

Love this Gershon. The truth and bare facts told with positivity and good humor. We all must face the final curtain and it's closer than we think. This is a fave for me. God Bless, JB

Ooh. Gosh. I hadn't realized that I had written a 'Final Act' here. You opened my droopy eyes, Judy! Thanks!

Lol, good one Gershon, we should listen to what our bodies are telling us. Tom

You'd think we'd listen better when we're younger... when we can still hear something! ~ Led Zeppelin made me deaf...
