Eye of Virus

Through its eyes we enter the city of woe,
one-eyed jack with piercing gaze
its mother alien coughs them up night and day
until the sun is covered with its cloud and
light turns into darkness.
Fair advice not to mingle with it,
for it has evil eyes that lust for lungs
as a chaste woman clings to her virginity.
In its pure terror, the virus has eyes
for the two-legged creature roaming the earth
and shattering other species, as human record
is testimonial to its inner barbarism, now
overtaken by eyes of a storm engulfing
a fragile planet, slated for auto-destruction.
