Eye of the Beholder
An angel flutters down,
Wings tucked in gentle
Folding her wings round me.
Encasing a tender rose
Battered broken flame
Smoldering within ice
Blackened icy heart
She lies beside me
Serene and tranquil
She sighs, I sigh,
Her pain,
My pain resonating.
Downy pearl white feathers
Melt and fade as she weeps
Each tear of blood
Rose crumbling sheds
Fading into the wind
Her love rejuvenating slowly
Filling cracks half mended
Corrupting heavens light
Slowly scorning scorching
Wings of mercy corrupted
Saphirre tears burning my soul
She sighs, I sigh
Her pain, my pain resonating.
Her voice a thousand bells
Healing broken being with me
Caged we are now
Black heart perfume
Lightly misted on both
Lust rage desire
Dancing mind to mind
Her spirit imprisoned
Within my hell
She sighs, I sigh
My pain, her pain resonating
Silent screams and pleas
Onyx wings entwined
Pulling in the world
One savior light
Extinguished saving rose
Deep within hells confines
Between lies and getting high
The message lost...
When the messenger was dismissed.
She sighs, I sigh
My pain, her pain resonating
Visions you'll see
Hidden behind Rose's eyes.
