Notes About The Poem

Water

Extreme Baptism

Extreme Baptism By Mark D. Stucky
What water volume optimizes baptism? Sprinkling, pouring, or total immersion? Will more water cleanse my crimes better? Will all my many sins wash away? I might need a better method for my obstinate stuck-on sins. To remove all those stubborn stains, Jesus, please pressure-wash my soul. (First published in Agape Review, 8 Jan. 2023.
