Extraterrestrial
To hear her speak in celestial tongues
To breathe her moon dust inside of your lungs
A cosmic experience inside ancient skies
A solar takeover behind her gold eyes
You’re pulled into orbit; you’re satellite bound
She’s taken you higher than spaceships are found
An interstellar alien—she keeps your heart spinning
As you fall far from grace where gravity’s winning
Watching her move like a nebulous stranger
The stars don’t compare, now your heart is in danger
She’s here and she’s gone in the blink of an eye
No proof of her presence.. just a myth of the sky
A beautiful muse with her electrical mystery
A neon empress has come and changed history
Feeling like an eclipse of yourself when she’s missing
Feeling like the whole world stops when you’re kissing
You’re lost in her atmosphere and willingly blind
Taken hostage by her experimental mind
You’d think by her essence you were chasing a ghost
An extraterrestrial; she’s the girl you love most..
