i saw dream-stones emanating
in clouds above the sea,
with scarlet radiating
the sun was setting free.
a heart of hunger strained,
ring-fenced in golden bone,
blue and silver veined,
no more to beat alone.
in living with a dying
that death could not possess,
life felt death defying,
redeemed of emptiness.
i saw the angels falling
as snowflakes from the sky,
and heed the future calling
to my true love and i.
