Laura, I am 70 years old and I can still remember my Mum saying the phrase which took me half a lifetime to understand. Everything goes full circle. I take it to mean that 'what goes around comes around' Don't mistake it for Karma, that is about retribution. I like your poem sad though it is, I understand it for private reasons. God Bless. D.
