Expression of Honesty

Beholding my special child’s countenance I’m delighted with his expressive eyes Praising God midst gratefulness, concealing no lies Contagious as he smiles with bliss’ radiance. Arrested by his apprehending stare midst serene face I cannot defy responding to his call for love and care Since such signals his spasm-epilepsy’s scare Only God can soothe and completely heal by His grace. Witnessing my son’s sincere feelings, displayed by varied emotions Through his facial appearance accentuated by his eye movements My heart seeks the Lord’s compassion* for right engagements Trusting His vision always perfect, devoid of illusions.
*Psalm 145:8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. April 3, 2019 Edited on May 17, 2020
