Expiring Hope

Searching for familiarity while peering through a curtain of disparity Efforts in vein realizing that even the greatest things cause pain No ill effects just wondering how anyone could ever expect the same After experiencing perfection in match it seems impossible to catch Attempts to replicate the feeling each time sends my mind reeling In the back of my mind is hope this is the only thing that helps me cope Even I know the feeling will pass but the memory will always last Tucked away for that hopeful reunion with hopes of never feeling blue again
