Expanding Crystals

Frozen certainty, white lacey prism Ever motion to become Between the states of liquid, solid or vapor Rain, sleet, snow, fog or humidity Which form will you take? To blanket our great state Visible or felt on bare flesh, chill bumps rise Send the delicate dry, lacey frozen form to close the school Just one day, please!

Doris, You brought a smile to my face with this adorable poem. It flows so well and creates a beautiful image of weather... and snow in particular. The last line was a delightful surprise... weather days close schools and children love it. Keep the fine words flowing. Lovingly, Dane Ann

OH, you are still longing for those snowflakes, I see!! I like this kind of poem, showing us your feelings at this moment and stating it so prettily. gosh, I never imagined Georgia as a cold state. Is snow rare? Luv, andrea

Snowing still continous here and much more to com by weekend, Doris. I am still busy with arranging my things (got lots of artefacts from Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu besides all pictures). So I am just using the time within my few walls. Have a very niche 2010!...Gert
