Exit

Cut me loose from this cloud of bewildering thought
Poke a hole in my heart for the woe to seep out
Rip me apart from this warm suicide blanket
I spot rats in my tunnel of trampled fate
O God, let me drive into the trees
Scatter seeds of my sad love
Dying to grant patience
To nothing more
Than solid
Life
