Existence

I exist in my own flesh
I am tied to this mortal realm
No matter how I try to escape
I am my own anchor

The world will take me piece by piece
Yet still I stand here, living
Sharing my breath with those
Who breathe the same air as me

Everything I feel is my own reality
I make it real
Creating my life
With every action I choose to take

With every word I write
