Existence

I have been forgotten

But I do not mind

As his life is his own

And I am left behind

He has lived without me

And I without him

Yet I could not believe

How it could’ve been

I melt in his arms

I shiver from his caress

His eyes have imprisoned me

Intentions I need to guess

What is it that I see?

Or have I been misled?

Is that an ounce of honesty?

Or are they just dead?
