Existence...
My existence is more like the essence
of simplicity, I live sometimes in pretence
Not because I love it but I just have to,
So I won’t be called black when I’m blue.
I live in daily in a display of double doubt
wondering if I would actually get… out
of this hut I live, among a host of … herd,
But I’m comforted, I have a sure Shepherd.
Deep in my heart I feel like I’m in a den,
But found hope whenever I rank top ten.
Life sometimes seem like a hallowed hell,
Yet I am happy when I have someone to tell.
Existence in pretence, I hide my feelings;
Sailing in simplicity, I cruise with my cravings,
I see beyond what lies within my eyes,
Looking at the future, I’m meant for the skies.
I live each day not knowing tomorrow,
I wait for what it holds… shine or shadow;
My existence is…living one day at a time,
Can I ever pen my present… in a real rhyme?
