Existence

One against the odds
like a boat that braves the storms and tides,
No matter where fate will take it,
it will sail afloat to reach the shore,
for, its destiny was foretold.

It is like the sun that must rise,
no matter how long is the night,
because without its shine,
darkness would devour the world
and life would shun its existence.
