Existantialists Plight
This is my plight, as well as my creed,
To sacrifice my wants for the sake of my needs,
I'll yield to my heart, and I'll humor my will,
But I'll never be strayed from the blanks I must fill,
To exist with the determination to aid one another,
With the hope we can benefit our sisters and brothers,
To be loyal and sympathetic to all of my friends,
Even though we're guaranteed our share of dead ends,
To be honest to others as well as myself,
And never be seduced by the grandure of wealth,
I'll become a fountain of knowledge, from which everyone may drink,
To revitalize that spark that allows you to think,
And from that spark I hope there will burn a great fire,
That spreads through the ages to carry on my desires
