Exile
Scared lost divinity waved beyond my grasp
Religious entitlement has damned the rest to hell
Here I sit floating in a fish filled stream
Black filled eyes cold hearts as well
Once the known a comfort now all lost
I speak I raise my head a sign some recourse
Is nothing familiar a comfort at no cost
Unhinged broken cast away a fledgling alone
Dark caverns offer safety no longer warm
Shivering cold a visitor at deaths’ door
Can anybody hear my voiceless cries
The pounding in my head high above clouds soar
