Exhausting the Colors of the Day

EXHAUSTING THE COLORS OF THE DAY Twilight trees lowing, in the splendiferous lilac sky, invisible to the inhabitants, gathered round a late night supper. A roof peeks into the camera’s eye — the home’s beneath the sculptor’s scene. I wonder if the Creator’s florid ink leaks into their minds, as they break bread and clasp hands, and the night sky squeezes hues of pink, purple and gray, exhausting its supply for the day? 2/15/2017 Sunrise and Sunset Contest/Silent One

I now feel like I'm missing so much beauty this cold Michigan winter as I hate venturing outside. This is a bit of a wake up call for me to enjoy the sunset colors. Very beautiful write, Kim.
