Exhale You

If only you can disappear, And conceal your existence, If only I can run, Away from my un-lasting resistance, Endless nights of suffering, My eyes are imprisoned by tears, I would always revive myself, When I see you in my dreams, Reality and make-believe, Confuse all my thoughts, Leaving me seek desperately, For all the answers, Ruthless words echo in my head, Erupting all my sad feelings, When I look at the mirror I see, A bruise prevented from healing, Shattering on the ground, Like broken pieces of glass, The happy memories are gone, And are replaced by sorrowfulness, If only I can expose my soul, To you, my deepest fear And leave you powerless So you can disappear, Set me free, Erase the immortality of you in me, And let the air you inhale, Be the air I breathe out…
