Excuses Why
Forgiveness for I quite patiently
have done you a massive disservice
In some or other way
You wish me not to know
As I see you have clearly closed
your curtains and bolting shut
your front door
And so to turned your back on me
and sent me to Coventry as well
And worst of all left no forwarding address
For me to plead my case in open court
If I so wished to contest your verdict
and offer up a defense
And be judged by a jury of my peers instead
And maybe then I may also finally figure out
Exactly what my crime was and find myself
Being charged with and accused of
Or is even worth or worthy of me and my
time contesting at all
