Painted on the walls 
Righted like a book

Free ride to denial 
Fast way out far from the truth 
Floating in mid air 
Never touching the ground 
Excuses 
Excuses 
What are you hiding from
A simple yes so hard to voice 
To a listeners ear to much to bare
Always the same excuses can make 
Our brake you 
Excuses

Never on time 
Always a minute to late 
To many to count 
Never ending story 
Excuses

Taking the place of poor intentions 
A cover to make up decisions
