Excuse Me, Jimi

Sue enjoyed this one too - she loves Hendrix. Yes, LOL, ye olde English takes a bit of getting used to - my copy of CT has translations in the footnotes, though. I bought Juliet a DVD set for Xmas - a modern version of CT, such as the W of B as a man-eating actress - and she said it just didn't work. I know what she means, as modern settings often spoil operas or Shakespeare plays for us -we once saw Othello, where he was a gang leader on a council estate and killed D on a pub pool table LOL

What a well written tribute to Jimi Hendrix! Still got the Woodstock-records and even the movie on tape.I still remember his fabulous America Anthem! At the time of the Vietnam War I often talked to American soldiers stationed at my home town. They were afraid of being sent to Vietnam and I got an address were they could go to in case they wanted to desert the army. Thank God all this is now history!!!
