Excited For Christmas

No snow on the ground
   Houses decorated
   Inside and outside
   When the darkness comes
   The decorated lights
    Lit up the brightness
    The darkness at night


    Children are excited
    Waiting for Santa
    To come with the gifts
    On the Christmas Eve
    They will wake up early
    Excited to see
    What Santa brought them

With all the lights it was still magical. We have a street called Candy Cane Lane and all the residents put up amazing lights and displays. Thanks for your lovely poem to enhance the season.
