I wish that the healing balsam of our Tears
Create streams
that reach our deepest valleys of sorrow,
And cleanse and sooth our pain.
And the streams become great rivers
that carry away our antique, obsolete
and borrowed suffering and collected debris
of old fears and doubts,
far out to sea.
