Evil Touch

Evil Touch

Like talons dragged across a nerve
Causing a pain I didn’t deserve
The touch of evil upon my skin
Filling my being with a deep chagrin

Opening my flesh like a meaty snack
Exposing within with a practiced knack
Stripping me down to my very core
Ignoring the cried pleas of “no more”

Hunting my feelings like a big wild cat
Engaging them with one sided combat
Claws buried deep where the pain is most
Giving my emotions the full fat dose

There I am left open, to the night sky
With nothing but pain and the word “why”
My fears all realised and pains exposed
Will I recover will the wounds be closed
