Evil Looms

evil looms nearby
lurking in shadowed corners ~
shrill, the raven's caw

Congratulations on your win, Jenna!! That picture is going to give me nightmares. Did you know that the Raven is one of the smartest birds?

Jenna you know placements aren't what's most important; but Tania did place you ;•)

Exactly! And it can be hard judging a contest at times. Especially since we all have our unique tastes and preferences when it comes to poetry. I have far more NAs than placements with the poems I've entered into contests lolol.

It's really not an issue. I write because I love poetry.

Looks something like a 'Proud Boy' to me (at this point). ~ I see a line of cars and they're all painted black! ~ M. Jagger

Associating evil with Proud Boy is about right (at this point) Thanks for the Jagger and comment.

Wow. Dark and foreboding – evil truly lurks in this vision you’re left on the page, whispering of darkness so thick it ripples with fear. Good one for the contest. God bless you always

Your senyru conjures up images of spooky graveyards and ravens watching with their beady eyes. Very Poe like Jenna, dark and forboding. Tom
