Evil Abounds

Our country suffers a great upheaval,
and the cries for help the elite don’t hear.
Big cities are overcome by evil,
and many can’t rest at night without fear.
Seems each turn we’re being confronted by slime,
carjacking’s and killing are now the norm.
Now we only dream of life without crime,
migrants crash our borders like bees to swarm.
Those who could stop this are quick to appease,
many filled with irrational thinking.
So they release them to do as they please,
the road now traveled needs some rethinking.
