Eve's Keys

EVE'S KEYS

Is is a security thing to sleep with keys,

Or fuzzy bears with tiny tears

Where fingers fit with ease,

Allowing our eyes to close and sleep

To come so pleasantly please,

To guard our dreams against that place

That dwells afraid where robbers wait

To steal our hearts, our heads,

Our lives, if we let our keys

Slip onto the floor and them in the door.
