Everything I've Ever Lost

If handed a box with all that I’ve lost
Id fervently look for the life in my own eyes

This has an intersting paradox, to look for your eyes. Maybe a canine friend would sniff to find the life and light. I like the concept of being 'handed a box with all that I've lost...' And life in the eyes would be worth reviving (not the umbrellas, and missing socks)
