Everyone Except the Men

Everyone is in a razzily dazzily jazzily mood
Okay maybe not everyone
But most of us
Except for
the men

They have forgotten
Left their little boys in dark houses years ago
Left their toys under porches where rats and mice play

I could feel sorry for them
But they would be irritated
For they are the men
Too tough to care about their inner children

I feel sorry for their inner children too
Sometimes wondering if they are under the porches
playing with their old toys
completely detached from their men

A very interesting picture, Caren. I have often wondered, too, what happens to the little boy if he is left behind somewhere along the way. Same goes, too, for the little girls. Obviously, you kept yours with you!

I nurture mine daily, she needs lots of approval and love.
