Each day of my life

My knight in shining armor
Would whisk me away
The reality sets in
Not today
Not even tomorrow
Keep dreaming
Because it won't happen
No one will save you
You can't be saved
I pray and I pray
That everyday, in every way
I can be a better woman
You can be a better man
For us, not just me
I beg for your acceptance
I yearn for you to need me
I beg to be worthy
I yearn for you to see me
I am here
I am alive
Without you
