Everyday

What if I change the end of your story, This question is only to prove your assumptions of my glory, All the how's, the when's, and why's you try to guess everyday, Through all the knowledge you think you've attained, What if someone asked you what are your plans, And you don't give a direct answer because you really don't understand, And all of those assumptions you've played out in your mind, Were never part of the story, or my will for your life, So all the time you spent on trying to figure things out, Wondering what would you do if I brought them about, Was a waste of a senerio that would never come to fruition, To fill your mind and heart with nothing but distraction, The anxious thoughts that try to stand in your way, When I am in control of your every day

I like how your poem delves into the tension between external expectations and internal autonomy. It invites readers to reflect on the futility of trying to predict or control another person’s life, and it challenges assumptions about destiny, free will, and the limits of knowledge.
