Everyday

~
Your smile
is the
beauty
my heart
longs to 
see…

not the dawn
with its 
sunrise
now
beckoning 
me…

a daffodil
blooming
neath
heavens 
of blue…

or a 
butterfly
fluttering
plainly
in view…

there’s 
only one 
sight that
I hope
comes to
be…

for your smile
is the
beauty
my heart
longs to 
see…

everyday
