Don't let your relationships limit you...
We all deserve to become our best self...
Not every loved one will be good for you... Some are content to clip your wings and stifle your growth and freedom...
Stay strong...Don't die with your music still inside you... Set it free...

Every step I take towards my future,
Takes me further away from you;
I loved you and you fooled me,
So we're both responsible, it's true...

So now I have to leave you behind,
Take myself out of this equation;
Focus on building myself up and 
No longer be partner to your ways, 
And...

Every step I take makes me feel so much more, 
The freedom to breathe and the freedom to soar... 
Every step I take makes me realise... 
That I only saw myself through your limited eyes... 
And I deserve so much more than this limited life...
It's time for me to live... 
It's time for me to thrive... 
It's time for me to fly...
It's time to say goodbye...

And the freedom to be me is just awesome now, 
Can't ever look back and wonder how, 
I kept myself small just to appease your needs, 
Couldn't better myself at the risk of your feelings...

Couldn't spread my wings 'cos you weren't dealing...
