Every Step
every step I take
brings me closer to where you are
every rung I climb
every thing I try
every thought I think
brings me closer
look over your shoulder
I'm coming up quick on you
slipping into your thoughts
feelings you forgot
fantasies you sought
closer than your shadow
feel my breath on your face
