Every Single Day Reminder

every single day i see you walking
with little diana

diana is so well behaved and you look so 
blessed and full of love when you smile down 
at her

your car was just repossessed 
i saw them hook it up when i was 
pulling up to my driveway

you and little diana were still sleeping

i wanted to call you, but i did not have your number

every single day since then i see you 
even more tired then you were the day before

i decide to introduce myself and offer you and 
little diana a ride

you shake your head no and tell me that i do not have 
to

i say that i want to and that it would not be a problem at
all

see, i remember when i was walking and struggling wishing
that i had done certain things differently

the lessons that i learned inspired the charity within me to grow

you give me a sincere smile and tell me that you would think about it

i take it no further and wish you and little diana a good day
