Every Second Counts

Watch me change the world.
Every second at a time
Freeze. Stop.
Look at all the frowns.
Look at all the smiles.
Wash away the tears.
Hand the girl with a broken heart
A red rose brighter than her cheeks.
Drop a ten dollar bill in the guitar
Case and listen to the magic of
A voice trying to be heard.
Help the child with a rocket ship
Notice the sky isn’t the limit.
Push the girl on the swing
Until she can touch the sky
And become part of the clouds.
Stop the man preparing to jump
Off a five story building and
Give him a reason to live.
Take the gun from the shattered spirit
And find his long lost soul.
Freeze. Stop.
Every second at a time.
Watch me change the world.
