Every Night At Twilight
Soft Svetlana set sail, serious in her search for a light.
Sixty Nordic warriors went along to aid in her fight.
They were overtaken and captured by pirates last Thursday night.
Svetlana’s empathy was admired, better than might.
She and her men were given freedom on Saturday night.
A tiny miracle in between sundown and twilight.
She gave the pirate king a crown with a gorgeous ruby bright.
He gave them a wave and yelled “You my lady are all right!”
The scruffy pirate king wearing this crown was quite a sight.
He wore it all of the week until the next Sunday night.
He said “That darling Queen Svetlana is more than all right!”
For the rest of his life he thought of her at every twilight.
