We often do not realize it
Until we feel our minutes
are numbered

Every minute is a choice
They are not replaceable
So please choose wisely

Hello Caren, Congratulations on the POTD honor. What you say in your superb verse is absolutely important regarding the importance of "every minute" both being a "gift" and a "choice." As it is expressed in the Latin, "Tempus Fugit" (or "Time Flies") this notion itself underlies the criticality of your theme. Every minute of our lives count for sure. Thank you Gary. As I get closer to the end of the beginning of the end of the beginning of the end, time is so much more precious. This was unexpected, as I often wonder if what I write down is even poetry. I am humbled, and in awe that words can mean so much to others, and I am grateful.
