Everlasting

I have been searched for ever so long
For something that can only be found
        In poetry, legend, or song

I will search and search till it I find
Until I can see it within another soul
Even though they may be blind

It may be invisible to the naked eye
And it will not be easy to seek
But for it, I would die

Love is what I am talking about
Something that gives you a reason
         To get up and shout

Something that makes your day true
Something without a lie or deceit
And this feeling will be so knew

It may be a fairytale
It may be a fluke
But in her eyes
I would become a Duke

I am no Prince Hamlet
Nor was I meant to be
But for love,
I would give up me
