Evergreen

Beige and peach,
Green and azure,
Mellow yellow,
Wise brown,
Adorned as if crown,
That man was colors,
They spoke what he was,
And what he was not,
What he had lost,
And what he had got,
And in the last,
He had not let,
Any of them fade,
With age or experience,
And they all said,
He was evergreen.
