Ever We Have Wings

If ever we have wings And dare to discover The celestial’s homes That surpass our imagination, Will we find that this Gift to wrestle with the force of gravity Will one day cause us calamity? The chronicles of dark dangerous spaces We found in dusty scrolls have Drawn us to even defy the Laws set out for us by the Residents of the heavenly realms, We chose freedom over reason That even without wings we fly, And challenge our crooked fates.
